For privacy questions or requests, contact us at ben@foundpantry.com.

Marketing and your consent

We will use your email address for launch news and marketing only where you have asked us to do so. You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email or contacting ben@foundpantry.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we lawfully did before you withdrew it.

Who we share information with

We use trusted service providers to host and protect the website and store the launch list. If we appoint an email delivery provider, it will process your address only to send messages for us. These providers may access personal information only as needed to supply their services and must protect it.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our legal rights, or as part of a sale, merger or restructuring of the business. We do not sell your personal information.

International transfers

Some service providers may process information outside the UK. If personal information is transferred to a country without UK adequacy regulations, we will use an approved safeguard, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, unless a legal exception applies. You can contact us for more information about the relevant safeguards.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address while you remain subscribed and the launch list is active. We will delete or anonymise it when you unsubscribe, ask us to erase it, or it is no longer needed, unless we must retain limited information for legal, regulatory or security reasons. We review the list periodically so information is not kept for longer than necessary.

How we protect it

We use proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration and disclosure. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we review our safeguards as the service develops.

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of your personal information
  • correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • ask us to delete or restrict the use of your information
  • receive information you provided in a portable format
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • withdraw consent at any time

To exercise a right, email ben@foundpantry.com. We may need to confirm your identity. We normally respond within one month and do not charge a fee, except where the law permits us to do so.
